The Waterfall J-Bass style pickup impresses with a defined, percussive fundamental tone with plenty of "punch". 
 
The bridge pickup is reversed so that the circuit works hum-free when both pickups are active.
 
These pickups are also hand-wound with the historically correct #42 plain enamel wire and are each fitted with eight AlNiCo 5 cylindrical magnets.
 
 
 
The DC resistance of the neck pickup is about 7.4 kΩ, that of the bridge pickup is about 7.7 kΩ.
