Privacy policy

Here we inform you about the use and storage of your personal data, as well as your rights arising from the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we use

The company STRATO AG is responsible for hosting and displaying our website. We have entered into an agreement on commissioned data processing (AVV) with STRATO AG, which regulates the handling of your personal data within the scope of the DSGVO.

When you visit our website, send us an email or when you download data, connection data is automatically transmitted and also logged. STRATO AG explains which log data is processed when you visit our website:

"When you visit our website or use our services, the device with which you call up the page automatically transmits log data (connection data) to our servers. This is especially the case when you place an order, when you log in or when you upload or download data. Log data is also collected by our servers when visitors access your web pages. Log data includes the IP address of the device you use to access the website or a service, the type of browser you use to access it, the website you visited previously, your system configuration, and date and time information. We store IP addresses only to the extent necessary to provide our services. Otherwise, IP addresses are deleted or anonymized. We store your IP address when you visit our website and the IP addresses of visitors to your web pages for a maximum of 7 days in order to detect and defend against attacks."

The servers of STRATO AG are located exclusively in Germany.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website, which are automatically stored on your terminal device to enable a more efficient use of our web presence. Some of these cookies (session cookies) are deleted at the end of the browser session. Other cookies remain on your end device and allow your browser to be recognized the next time you visit.

You can prevent the setting of cookies at any time by means of an appropriate setting in your Internet browser and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time using an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common Internet browsers. If you deactivate the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, it may not be possible to use all the functions of the website.

Use and disclosure of personal data

In order to provide the service you have ordered, it may be necessary to pass on your data to third parties. For example, we pass on your address data to a shipping service provider for the delivery of goods. Or if you have agreed on a SEPA direct debit procedure with us, we will pass on your data to our bank.

Otherwise, the following applies: If you have provided us with personal data, e.g. via the contact form on the website or via an email inquiry, or if you have consented to the processing of your personal data (e.g. for the purpose of direct advertising), we will not pass this data on to third parties.

Your personal data will only be used to answer your inquiry or to process orders you have placed with us and the resulting legally required retention obligations. You will only receive direct advertising if you have expressly consented to this.

Your right to information and deletion of personal data

Upon written request, we will gladly inform you which of your personal data we have stored. We will delete this data immediately if you so wish, unless we are required by law to retain certain data.

You can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.
