Vintage - for neck position
Are you looking for the authentic basic sound of a T-style guitar, but with more dynamics? The Vintage neck position fulfills the requirements with small detail improvements such as
- the hand-wound coil, approx. 7.5 kΩ
- the sensitive ALNICO V magnets
This pickup is supplied with a chrome cap as standard - on request also without a cover, but with a wax-soaked cotton band or with an aged look.
The hand-wound coil is somewhat livelier than the machine-wound coil because it builds up less capacitive resistance due to scatter-winding, which leads to a loss of treble and dynamics.
Vintage - for bridge position
With the vintage bridge position, you can achieve the classic sound, snotty and sassy with the added dynamics of a hand-wound coil. The thinly coated original plain enamel wire from the 50s is used in conjunction with powerful ALNICO V magnets, approx. 7.4 kΩ DC resistance. This pickup has the "dirty" character of a P-90, combined with the bell-like highs of a good single-coil pickup.
Vintage (Single PU)
The DC resistance is about 7.4 kΩ (neck PU), 7.6 kΩ (bridge PU).
The neck pickup is delivered with wood screws for classic body mounting, these screws are not suitable for pickguard mounting.
