The bridge pickup of the 59 CrossPoint has a direct and tight tone and can therefore be used especially well for rocking rhythm work. The reason for this tonal strength is a powerful AlNiCo V magnet.
 
In contrast, the neck PU is equipped with an AlNiCo II magnet that is very sensitive to string vibration; this pickup has a soft fundamental tone with
best transparency and excellent string separation.
 
Both pickups are hand wound with the historically correct plain enamel wire.
